Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me:

April Pages

Although the month of April has been one of stay-at-home orders with not a lot of places open, the month still seemed to fly by!

Here's an overview of what we did...

The month started with some work around the house, a backyard campfire with some sparklers leftover from last summer, and baby chicks joining the farm. Also, at the beginning of the month (since we homeschool) my youngest daughter finished her 4th Grade work!

A decent amount of yard and barn work got accomplished in April... and the last weekend was suppose to be our first camping trip of the season, however, with everything closed, we improvised!

We headed out to a nearby National Wildlife Preserve and had a really nice hike. Once back home we had a fire out back and played a game. The girls also wanted to 'camp out,' so they slept in our room on the floor -- lol!

Another addition to the farm occurred this month, two baby goats! Meet Daisy and Blossom...

Hope you liked this quick look into our month. Not much different that normal!
How have you been during this unusual time of staying at home orders?

Have a great day!

  1. I too have decided to raise (3) chicks. They are Olive eggers and are getting dark feathers at three weeks old. Our electric went out a couple days ago and I scrambled for alternative heat for them. What type are you raising?
